Why was it difficult for Britain to maintain ownership of the United States? Give two reasons please.

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

As more colonies were developed or established trading became an issue Colonists wanted to trade directly with Indians and other nations while Britain wanted to control the trade within the colonies and limit who the Colonies cold trade with. This resulted in the people of the colonies becoming more and more unhappy with Great Britain.

A second reason it became harder was the cost of the French and Indian War. The cost of the war put Britain in debt, this debt resulted in the need to raise funds. These funds were raised by placing harsh taxes on the colonist. This like the trading regulations caused unhappiness among the colonist.

that am corrupt. He dares to suggest that I accepted
favors from business owners in exchange for putting them
in contact with state legislators who lowered business
taxes. This is an absurd claim. Moreover, I find it ironic that
he, of all people, wants to point fingers and talk about
corruption. Isn't it interesting that he accepts so many

handedly responsible for sponsoring state laws that ease

At the turn of the 20th century, the nations of Europe had been at peace with one another for nearly how many years?

Answer: The nations of Europe had been at peace with one another for nearly 100 years.

We are talking about the moment European nations signed the agreement during the Congress of Vienna in 1815, the so-called "Concert of Europe," until the beginning of World War I, in 1814, after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, of the Austria-Hungary Empire.

One of the goals of the Congress of Vienna (1814-1815) was to restore Europe to the way it was before the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars.

Answer:

c. Colonel George Custer discovered gold on Sioux land in the Black Hills.

Explanation:

In 1876 Colonel George Custer discovered the existence of gold on the Back Hills property, which belonged to the Sioux, an allied North American Indian tribe. The discovery of this gold attracted the attention of many settlers who began to invade these lands and strongly displeased both the Sioux and the Chayennne who were their allies. Both tribes refused to accept settler entry into their properties, but the greed of the settlers and the government was not discouraged and sparked a new round of war between the Sioux and the US Army.

how did the captors and hostages both use the media for their own purposes? in the Iran Hostage Crisis

Answers

Answer:

Use of media in the Iran Hostage Crises.

Explanation:

Both sides used media for the coverage of the crises. American media tried to cover the entire incident as Americans were eager to learn about their citizens taken as hostages. The crisis raised topics about whether the news was reporting on the events as the issue was broadcast non-stop.

The Iranian students developed videotape and satellite feeds that transformed television news. They regularly use hostages in front of the cameras to fulfil their demands and to create fear for the American government.
